Guntamatic Biomass Heating
Domestic - Commercial - Industrial - Agricultural

We install Austrian Guntamatic Heiztechnik (Guntamatic Heating Technology) biomass systems. The Guntamatic design philosophy is a fusion of traditional wood burning methods and modern technology, producing a range of boilers combining world class efficiency, control and automation. Guntamatic products have won many international awards for their groundbreaking design and efficiency.

Biostar: 12, 15 or 23 kW. Suitable for homes 1,000 to 4,300 sq/ft

Guntamatic Biostar Boiler Kit

This kit is suitable for radiator systems, underfloor heating systems or combined systems. This system can also be used in conjunction with Westfa flat plate collectors integrated in to the buffer tank to give a further reduction in running costs.

Biocom: 30, 40, 50, 75, or 100 kW. Suitable for homes 2,500 to 18,000 sq/ft

Fully automated, self-feeding (you never touch a pellet), self cleaning, modulating /weather regulated. No buffer tank required.

Space and Location

BOILER: Requires a footprint of about 2.5 sq/mt and can be located in boiler room, garage or in house but ideally adjacent to heating system pipe work. PELLET STORE: Can be free standing or built indoor or outdoor and can be located up to 20m from the boiler (for models with vacuum feed system). In either case at least 5 sq/mt of dry interior space is required. DHW TANK: Any size of tank may be used, including the standard 'hot press copper cylinder' but in general bigger is better for efficiency and located as close to the boiler as possible.

Heating System Capability

Biomass/Wood-pellet boilers are completely compatible with radiators or underfloor heating and can be attached to any type of existing or new heating system.

Domestic Hot Water (DHW) System

The wood-pellet boiler will cover all DHW demand into whatever hot water cylinder available. However a large (300+) cylinder does add to efficiency and is recommended.
