How Heat Recovery Works -

Heat Recovery uses the heat of the outgoing air to heat the incoming air. In summer use, heat recovery is bypassed. Well-timed use of ventilation, heat recovery of the extract air and easy adjustments of the ventilation unit ensure not only fresh indoor air but also good energy efficiency. The Vallox ventilation units use the heat bound in the extract air to heat supply air. In the heat recovery element, the heat of the outgoing air heats the incoming air. For most of the year, the heat recovered from the air to be extracted is sufficient to heat the air coming from the outside to a suitable temperature. When the outdoor air is very cold, supply air needs additional heating in order to ensure sufficient ventilation and to prevent draught. In the Vallox ventilation units, the incoming air can be heated with either an electric or a water radiator.
